Description
This heavy-duty basketball rim features an official-size 18″ diameter design engineered for exceptional strength and dependable performance. The rim is constructed with a 5/8″ thick steel upper ring and a 1/2″ steel lower ring, securely welded together at no fewer than six points to create a strong, rigid playing surface built to withstand frequent use.
Twelve individual net locks are attached to the lower ring to securely accommodate standard nylon basketball nets. A minimum 3/16″ thick steel back plate is punched for compatibility with front-mount backboards, providing a strong and reliable connection.
For additional stability and reinforcement, the rim incorporates both a 1/2″ diameter and a 3/8″ diameter steel rim support. This rugged construction makes the rim an excellent choice for parks, schools, recreation facilities, and other high-use basketball courts.
