Our goal is to make sure that your project goes smoothly. With that goal in mind, we’ve compiled some helpful tips and fundamental information to ensure the shipping process goes as smoothly as possible.
Most of the items ordered from us will be delivered through a freight carrier (18-wheeler truck). There are certain exceptions for small orders of lightweight, compact items.
Shipping fees do not cover the unloading of goods by the truck driver or anyone other than the receiver of the goods.
If you have a forklift or other heavy machinery available, it’s recommended to use it for unloading. The average pallets size is 16′ long. Please don’t let this recommendation discourage you from ordering the equipment you want. With the assistance of one or two people, most shipments can also be unloaded by hand, we’ve done it many times ourselves.
We strive to provide you with all the necessary information to track your shipment with the freight carrier. However, please keep in mind that the delivery dates provided are only estimates and not guaranteed.
To make sure you are not hit with surprise freight charges, it is important that you make your salesperson aware if any of the following items pertain to your delivery.
- If you need a call-ahead appointment.
- If this is a residential delivery.
- If your receiving hours are not available from 8-5 M-F.
Please note that the lead times for your order may vary depending on the time of year you place it. We provide a wide range of quick-ship items that generally have a lead time of 2-4 weeks. Meanwhile, non-quick ship items usually take 8-12 weeks to produce. If you choose to use our installation services, the lead time will also depend on our installation schedule’s availability.
When utilizing our installation services, we will work with you to determine the best way to receive your equipment. For instance, we may meet the truck driver at your site or receive your product at our warehouse.
Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have about shipping.
